Owners Traci Des Jardins and Pat Kuleto created a champagne inspired décor, with twinkling lights and ice buckets located inside the balcony rails.  The restaurant is dimly lit and has long velvet curtains on the windows. When first entering Jardiniere, you walk into the oval atrium and you may sit downstairs or go up their winding staircase and dine upstairs.  Jardiniere caters to an older, elegant crowd.  It is also a favorite among symphony goers at the Opera House.  In addition, the restaurant has live jazz music each night at 7:30 pm.  The attire is somewhat dressy, although a jacket is not required.  This restaurant offers a very romantic atmosphere and is upscale; therefore it is recommended that you not bring children.

Jardiniere has an impressive cheese selection and an extensive wine list, with over five hundred bottles. A specialty feature is their daily change of menu items.  They also serve heart-healthy dishes, selecting local, seasonal and organic ingredients.  Some favorite menu items include the wine braised short ribs with horseradish spiked potato puree, rabbit rilletts and duck breast with honey-glazed kabocha squash.
