SFO San Francisco Airport - AirTrain
When you fly into San Francisco Airport you exit the plane at a nice gate with lots of room and plenty of restrooms and restaurants. To claim your bags, head out of the gate, downstairs and look at the monitors to find out which baggage carousel your bag will come out of. Once your bag is obtained you can head left to catch the AirTrain to a BART station or car rental building. A few years ago you would exit to a shuttle bus to get a rental car. Now you walk a bit to catch the train but you get dropped off right at your destination. Follow the signs to get to the Air Train. Go up an elevator and then get on the train. Listen to the guide so you know which stop to get off on. There are also maps on the walls of the train.
