Tres Agaves San Francisco California
Tres Agaves is a restaurant located in the Bay Area of San Francisco, California which features regional Mexican cuisine from the state of Jalisco. Jalisco and its capital, Guadalajara are known as the birthplace of Tequila. Tres Agaves is named for the three types of Blue Agave Tequila, blanco, reposado and aņejo. Specializing in Mexican comfort food, wholesome and rustic dishes like guajillo spiced braised pork shoulder and wood fired rotisserie chicken, Tres Agaves serves soulful renditions of Jaliscan classics, made with the freshest ingredients. Guacamole is made from scratch at your table and their hand squeezed lime margaritas are the perfect accompaniment to the spicy dishes.

Tres Agaves interior, bright colored stucco walls housed within a South of Market brick and timber warehouse create a casual village square atmosphere. Their 26 seat private dining room, called "Julio's Tasting Room" is perfect for parties or meetings and there is a larger event space seating 100. Partners Julio Bermejo (Tommy's Mexican Restaurant), Executive Chef Joseph Manzare (Globe and Zuppa), Eric Rubin and Sammy Hagar (Cabo Wabo Enterprises and formerly the lead singer for Van Halen) have gone to great pains to create as authentic a Central Highland Jaliscan restaurant as possible.
Tres Agaves is located at 130 Townsend Street in San Francisco, one block north from SBC Ballpark in the South Beach neighborhood. Tres Agave's hours of operation are from 11am to 4pm daily for lunch, from 4pm to 11pm for dinner and for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 3pm. There is also a late night menu available from 11pm to 1am, Sunday through Thursday and 11pm to 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.
