Zuni Cafe San Francisco California
Zuni Cafe, located on Market Street in San Francisco, is a glass-walled landmark Mediterranean influenced restaurant famous for its copper-topped bar, its buzzing clientele and its open kitchen with a brick oven. The Zuni Café menu is eclectic and inspired with roots in the foods of the Mediterranean. The menu changes often, but there are favorite regulars like the roast chicken and Tuscan bread salad or the Caesar salad. Zuni Cafe is still famous for their succulently fresh and delicious oysters. Along with these delectable beauties, appetizers include house-cured white anchovies with celery and parmesan cheese or delicate ricotta gnocchi with fresh sage. Their signature chicken is roasted to order and comes to your table nicely prepared on a bed of baby red mustard greens. They even serve a burger; though the focaccio bun is exactly the sort of Mediterranean twist one would expect form Zuni Café.
